Thank you community for your support in 2025.  Your support of our club has helped us make several charitable contributions.  The club contributed towards the purchase of new Lion drinking fountain outside village hall, we sponsored a local college scholarship, we supported the Lincoln High School’s Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) trip, and we made donations towards Lion’s international charities like Lion’s leader dogs, Lion’s kidney foundation, and Lion’s Camp Needle Point in Wisconsin.  The club has set aside funds to pay for a new Lion’s community center in the Village of Merrillan.  The club also made upgrades to the Gile Memorial Park Shelter and installed a commercial cooler and a freezer that can be used by anyone who rents the park shelter.

    The Merrillan Lion’s raised additional funds by helping at many other non-profit organization events including the Alma Center Strawberry Festival Car Show, the Melrose Old School Car Show, the Black River Falls American Legion Car Show, the Hixton Fire Department Car Show, and the Black River Area Chamber of Commerce Trail of Terror.   We will help with these events again in 2026.

   We ended 2025 with an offer to purchase the Merrillan Masonic Lodge to convert the building into a community event building.   The club is renting the building while funds are being raised to complete the purchase in the fall of 2026.   

  The club is pleased to announce that the parade will return to our annual Christmas Tree Festival’ and car show in 2026.
