Rental Details:

Rental Fee: $125 per day

Rental Period: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. the following day

    (includes setup and cleanup)

Deposit: None required.

Payment Due: On day reservation is made.

Payment Methods: Cash, check, or website payment.

Payable To: Merrillan Lions Foundation.

 

Use and Capacity:

Facility is available to the public and community groups.

Maximum occupancy: 100 people.

Includes a large meeting room and a fully stocked kitchen.

 

Cancellations:

Cancellations made within 7 days of the scheduled rental date will incur a $50 late cancellation fee.

Kitchen and Catering:

Kitchen is fully available for renter use.

Outside caterers are permitted.

All kitchen areas and equipment must be cleaned after use.

 

Alcohol:

Alcohol is permitted.

Renter is responsible for obtaining and complying with any required liquor license.

Proof of licensing is not required by the Foundation.

 

Safety Rules:

No smoking inside the building. Smoking is permitted only in the outdoor picnic area using provided ash trays.

No open flames or grills inside the building.

Outdoor grilling is permitted in the designated picnic area.

Candles may be used briefly and may not be lit longer than five minutes.

 

Damage, Conduct, and Liability:

Renter is responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.

Renter is responsible for the conduct of all guests.

Renter agrees to hold harmless and indemnify the Merrillan Lions Club from claims or damages arising from use of the facility, except in cases of gross negligence.

 

Insurance:

Facility rentals are covered under the Merrillan Lions insurance policy. No additional insurance is required from the Renter.

 

Building Access:

The Renter must contact the Foundation no later than five (5) days prior to the scheduled rental date to receive instructions for access to the building.
